Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the UsTwo application ("the app", "our service"). By using the app, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using UsTwo, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
2. Description of Service
UsTwo is a couples drawing application that allows two users to pair together, draw on a shared canvas in real-time, and export their drawings to iOS lock screen widgets. The app includes both free and premium (Pro) features.
3. User Accounts
UsTwo does not require traditional account registration. A unique user profile is created on your device when you first use the app. You provide a display name during onboarding. You are responsible for any activity that occurs under your device's profile.
4. Partner Pairing
You can pair with one partner at a time using a 6-digit code. Pairing connects your canvases for real-time drawing synchronization. Either user can disconnect the pairing at any time through the app's settings. Disconnecting may result in the deletion of shared canvas data.
5. Subscriptions & Payments
UsTwo offers a Pro subscription that unlocks additional features. Subscriptions are managed through the Apple App Store and processed by RevenueCat. Key terms:
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage and cancel your subscription in your device's App Store settings.
- When one partner subscribes to Pro, both partners in the pairing gain access to Pro features.
- Free trial eligibility and terms are determined by the App Store.
6. Consent to Share Consumption Data with Apple
By using UsTwo and making in-app purchases, you consent to our sharing of data regarding your usage and consumption of purchased content with Apple, as part of our efforts to resolve refund requests. This information may include details about how you have accessed and interacted with the purchased content. The purpose of sharing this data is to help Apple make an informed decision regarding refund requests. We ensure that such data sharing is done in compliance with Apple's policies and only as necessary to process your requests.
7. User Content
You retain ownership of the drawings and content you create using the app. By using the app, you grant us a limited license to store and transmit your drawings for the purpose of syncing them with your partner and providing the service. We do not claim ownership over your content.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the app for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the app's functionality
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the app
- Use the app to harass, abuse, or harm another person
- Transmit any content that is offensive, harmful, or violates the rights of others
- Create multiple profiles to abuse free trial offers
9. Intellectual Property
The app, including its design, code, graphics, and branding, is owned by UsTwo and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the app without our written permission.
10. Push Notifications
The app may send push notifications to your device, including drawing updates from your partner and daily reminders. You can manage notification permissions in your device's settings at any time.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We make no guarantees regarding the reliability of real-time synchronization or data persistence.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, UsTwo and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of drawings, or interruption of service.
13. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the app at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful to other users or the service.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
15. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
