Privacy Policy
Last updated: March 3, 2026
UsTwo ("we", "our", or "the app") is a couples drawing application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our app.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following information to provide and improve our service:
- Display Name — The name you enter during onboarding, used to personalize your experience and identify you to your partner.
- Pairing Code — A temporary 6-digit code generated to connect you with your partner. Codes expire after 24 hours.
- Drawing Data — The drawings you create on the shared canvas, stored to sync between you and your partner.
- Push Notification Token — A device token used to send you notifications, such as when your partner sends you a drawing.
- Survey Responses — Answers to optional onboarding survey questions about your relationship preferences.
- Feedback Messages — Any feedback you voluntarily submit through the app.
- Subscription Status — Your subscription identifier managed through RevenueCat to provide access to Pro features.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Enable partner pairing and real-time drawing synchronization
- Send push notifications (e.g., drawing updates from your partner, daily reminders)
- Manage your subscription and provide access to Pro features
- Improve the app based on survey responses and feedback
- Track app attribution and analytics for product improvement
3. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate the app:
- Supabase — Cloud database for storing user profiles, pairing data, and drawing canvases.
- RevenueCat — Subscription and in-app purchase management.
- Tenjin — Analytics and advertising attribution tracking.
- Expo Push Notifications — Delivery of push notifications to your device.
Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data. We encourage you to review their respective policies.
4. Advertising & Tracking
We use Tenjin for analytics and attribution tracking. When you first open the app, you will be prompted via Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework to allow or deny tracking. If you grant permission, we may collect your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) for attribution purposes. You can change this permission at any time in your device's Settings.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. Your data is shared only with the third-party services listed above, solely for the purpose of operating the app. Drawing data is shared between you and your paired partner as part of the core functionality.
6. Data Retention
Your data is retained for as long as you use the app. If you disconnect from your partner, the shared canvas data associated with that pairing may be deleted. You can request deletion of your data by contacting us at ustwo.app.contact@gmail.com.
7. Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information. Drawing data is synced peer-to-peer via WebRTC when possible, reducing server-side exposure. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children's Privacy
UsTwo is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.
9. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction or deletion of your data
- Opt out of tracking via the App Tracking Transparency prompt
- Withdraw consent for push notifications through your device settings
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
